Into Gaia
Our Story
Into Gaia officially began in 2022 in London as a creative passion project by our founder, Siobhan. With no background in fashion but a deep love for ethereal vintage and timeless craftsmanship, she started sourcing small rolls of deadstock silks and leftover fabrics from Goldhawk Road in Shepherd’s Bush, London. These forgotten materials were transformed into meaningful pieces with the help of local seamstresses who created inhouse patterns and made-to-order garments.
What began as a small studio project soon grew into a brand rooted in conscious creation. Today, Into Gaia produces both in-house and through local artisans in Bali, Italy and India. The brand’s mission remains the same: to create pieces that endure, that feel special, and that hold meaning far beyond a single season.
Creating With Intention
Every Into Gaia design begins with purpose. Each piece is made thoughtfully and at a deliberate pace, allowing time for craft and precision. We believe fashion should captivate without waste, with clothes that are beautiful, ethical and crafted to last.
We design in small, intentional runs to prevent excess and ensure each Into Gaia piece serves a purpose. Our garments are made to be worn often, loved deeply and treasured as timeless keepsakes for years to come.
Materials That Matter
We work with natural, recycled and rescued fabrics such as silk, viscose, cupro and premium deadstock textiles. Every fabric is chosen for its beauty, quality and durability. By using recycled and rescued fabrics, we extend the life of existing materials and reduce textile waste.
Our sourcing process is ongoing. We continually explore new and lower-impact materials that meet our standards for feel, performance and elegance while remaining true to our sustainable philosophy.
Craftsmanship and Longevity
Each Into Gaia piece is made by hand using intelligent cutting methods that minimise fabric waste. Every bead, trim and stitch is applied with care, ensuring each design has its own quiet identity.
Our silhouettes are timeless. We design for permanence through strong construction, high-quality fabrics and refined detail. Each piece is made to last, not to follow trends.
People and Process
We know every person who contributes to the making of our clothing. Production is led from our studios in India, London and Bali.
We speak with our makers daily. They are paid fairly at the rate they request and always on time, in safe, respectful and ethical working conditions. Many have been part of our journey since the very beginning, and their craftsmanship remains at the heart of our identity.
This hands-on approach allows us to remain transparent and ethical at every stage. Every Into Gaia piece is a collaboration built on respect and artistry.
Small Runs, Real Impact
Every Into Gaia design is made in limited quantities. Small runs allow us to reduce overproduction, maintain quality and provide consistent, meaningful work for our artisan teams. Nothing is made without purpose or intention.
Gaia Giving
Through our Gaia Giving initiative, we donate a portion of profits from selected collections to small, community-led organisations that protect the planet and empower local people.
For us, giving back is not an afterthought; it is a core value. We share the stories of the non-profits we support, aiming to create real connection between fashion, people and the planet.
Our Commitment
Sustainability is not a trend or a campaign; it is our foundation. We are always seeking ways to grow responsibly, learning from our makers and materials to improve every step of the process.
We remain committed to full transparency and continuous evolution. Into Gaia stands for clothing that is ethical, considered and made to endure.
Our Promise
Everything matters: fabric, fit, finish and footprint. By slowing down we create clothing that carries meaning and integrity. Each piece is made ethically by hand, in limited quantities, designed to last and created to be treasured for a lifetime.
This is conscious luxury. This is Into Gaia.
